In WORLD'S FINEST COMICS #82 in May-June 1956 Batman, Robin and Superman travel through time to find out the identity of The Man In The Iron Mask.
Always a favorite pairing has been with Superman. Especially when it meant that two arch villains would team-up as well.
A 1961 guest in LOIS LANE, trying to win her affection along with fellow members of the Justice League.
Sometimes there was tension between the Man of Steel and The World's Greatest Detective, as seen in this 1964 comic story.
Batman also frequently guest starred in other heroes' magazines. Usually with other Justice League members. Case in point, this Supergirl comic from 1973.
Batman was also an original member of the JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA, a tenure which has lasted through five decades..
Throughout the 70's and 80's, Batman was laos a member of TV's SUPERFRIENDS, a toned down Justice League for children. Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman were also charter members.
THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD teamed Batman with a new partner each month beginning with issue #74 in October-November 1967. The Caped Crusader was paired with everyone imaginable, including Plastic Man in this yuletide tale in Issue 148, March 1979.
An unlikely teaming with Metropolis' Lois Lane to battle Metallo in a 1981 issue of THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD. Batman was teamed with many partners in the magazine from 1967 through the final issue (#200) in July 1983.

Together again in this 1994 comic adventure based on the BATMAN ANIMATED SERIES. When Supes would get his own series a few years later, they would eventually meet on the cartoon.
Another DC crossover with Marvel comics brought Batman together with The Punisher in LAKE OF FIRE in 1994.

November 2001 brought about on the Cartoon Network, from the creators of the BATMAN ANIMATED SERIES, THE JUSTICE LEAGUE. Featuring George Newbern as Superman (Tim Daly being busy filming his show THE FUGITIVE), Kevin Conroy returning as The Batman, Phil LaMarr as Green Lantern and Michael Rosenbaum as The Flash.
