I HAVE ENJOYED THE LETTERMEN MUSIC SINCE THE 60'S. I DID NOT MEET THEM PERSONNALY UNTIL THEY PERFORMED IN MY HOMETOWN AT OUR NEW RENOVATED OPERA HOUSE NINE YEARS AGO. SINCE THEN I HAVE SEEN THEM PERFORM 50 TIMES---WILL TRAVEL ANYWHERE WITH IN 10 HOURS FROM HOME AND TO NEVADA THREE TIMES. THEY ARE THE BEST---GIVE A WONDERFUL SHOW ALL THE TIME. I WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF SEEING AND LISTENING TO THEM. THEY HAVE BECOME MY BEST FRIENDS AND I AM HONERED TO KNOW THEM. I ATTENDED 15 CONCERTS IN 2006 AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THEM FOR MY 3RD TIME IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR. THE LETTERMEN WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE GROUP AND THAT INCLUDES THE THREE MUSICIANS ALSO.

Where do I begin.....I just happened to look up Lettermen website and oh my gosh!!! What memories!!! I had to be begged to go to a Lettermen concert in 1978 (I loved only country music then) and it was w/my friend Anna and we went to Murat Theatre in Indpls, Ind and I was hooked from then on. Met gorgeous Donny the 1st time and then that lead to MANY fun and exciting road trips. They were memories that truly will and have lasted a LONG time.....thanks to my friend Anna O. Love the Lettermen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Dad was a big Letterman fan, so I grew up listening to them. I still remember the first song I ever hear. "Going Out of My head". I can't tell you what drew me to their music, all I can remember is how great the harmonies sounded. And I thought it wasn't cool to like the music your parents like. I continue to this day to be a big fan. When my son was born 13 years ago I use to rock him to sleep with Lettermen tapes. For some reason none of the cutesy lullaby tapes seemed to work for him, but the Lettermen did. I have been out of touch to the Lettermen community for a while, but I am enjoying catching up on information on the group and their music. And remembering some wonderful memories.

My wife and I met while in high school because I was trying to win a copy of "When I Fall In Love" at a church bazaar. Their single, "The Way You Look Tonight," became our song, and we've always felt the Lettermen played a big part in our getting together. I only met them once, at SF International Airport, back in 1963, when I was able to get their autographs for my then girlfriend, my wife today. Thanks Lettermen!!

The Lettermen have class! I'm hoping to get to see them in concert this year. I haven't seen them since they were at The Holiday House in Monroeville, PA (near Pittsburgh). That was a lot of years ago. Do you have an up-to-date schedule for them - preferably incl. the Pittsburgh, PA area? They'd be welcome in Pittsburgh with open arms. I know there's many people who would go to see them and enjoy their music and harmony!! The Lettermen's talents are phenomenal!! I never grow weary of their sound!

Returning home tonight from a restaurant, I listened to a live interview with Tony Butala conducted by some personality from a Vero Beach, Florida radio station. I then remembered something which has remained with me for more than 35 years. In the mid 1960's, I was in the Army and was on temporary duty at Camp Shelby, Mississippi. I drove to New Orleans for the week-end to see some old friends, Dick and Shirley Desonier. On Saturday night we all went to the Blue Room at the Roosevelt hotel, where the Lettermen were performing. At their first and subsequent breaks, Tony came to our table and sat. He was so very nice and friendly and made a great impression on me. I loved their music then and I still love their music today. I especially love their rendition of our national anthem. Thank you Lettermen for so many wonderful years of great music and may you have many many more years of success.

In 1974, I turned 14 and purchased my first album which was the Lettermen's "All Time Greatest Hits" recording. Not something most 14 year-old guys were listening to at the time. I have been hooked ever since as evidenced by having collected over 65 albums, attended over 30 concerts in the Chicago area and sang with the guys many times during the 1980's since that first album purchase. Today I am 43 years-old and enjoy singing to Lettermen favorites with my wife and young daughters (they love learning the different harmony parts!)and introducing the sounds of the Lettermen to a whole new generation. My dream is still to someday sell my business and join the Lettermen as the newest member of the group! I better keep practicing in the meantime. This is a fantastic website by the way!

I've been a Lettermen "fanatic" from the beginning--1961--when I started high school in Castro Valley CA.----All my buddies wanted to borrow my Lettermen Albums to get cozy with their girls friends---the beach or whatever!! I got to see the Lettermen at Cabot College, Hayward CA. in 1966----it was FANTASTIC!! From there, it was the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco in 1970 and about 6-7 times more!! My ex-wife and myself got to go to the Lettermen's room at the Fairmont for wine and pictures----IT WAS THE BEST!!! Tony loves his wine--as you guys know he has his own winery. Then I became a mobile disc jockey for about 12 years---still do some--and I got to play as much Lettermen music as I could!!! Anyway, I could talk all day about the 15-20 concerts I've seen----ALL THE GREATEST!!!---but I still want to see Reunion perform!!----and the Lettermen!! At one time I had over 60 different Lettermen albums. The name "LETTERMEN" still gives me a chill!! REGARDS TO ALL LETTERMEN FANS AND THE BEST TO PAST AND CURRENT LETTERMEN!!!
